How to Play

This event requires you to be a member of the Candyfloss official discord server to submit your entries and receive Prizes. Head over to the Server to Start playing! In the "Jack'o' Floss" Channels you can claim a punch card. Each card will have 10 Challenges on it. Use the Submission form in the discord to Submit When you complete a challenge. Each completed Challenge earns you the listed Prize! Completing 5 out of the 10 will gain you the exclusive Jack'o'floss myo!

You Can Complete the Challenges in any order, and your Punchcard can be veiwed in your personal inventory to track your progress. Each entry must feature at least 1 candyfloss. They can belong to you or belong to another user as long as you have their permission to feature their character(s).

The deadline for Completion is November 30th, end of day, CST.

Rules

To qualify, all entries must follow the following guidelines.

By Submitting a challenge you are agreeing to have your art/ Literature featured on the Website home page and Community art gallery.

All challenge entries must be created specifically for this event within the time that the event is ongoing.

Art Entries

Must be drawn entirely by you, No Ai, No Collabs, Credited assets and bases are OK!

Must be completed past the lineart stage, this means no sloppy or unfinished sketches. Coloring is required. Shading and back grounds are optional.

Must be accurate to Candyfloss anatomy and individual designs for featured floss. Chibi proportions are okay.

Must feature at least one Candyfloss prominently, this means you can see more than half of their body and face, and they are not turned away from the Veiwer.

literature Entries

Must be between 1K-5K words in length.

Must be written in either google Docs, toyhouse literature, or deviantart Liturature posts that are visible to everyone.

Must be reasonably coherent. Spelling errors are permisable.

Must be written in English.

Must be written entirely by you, No Ai, no Collabs, no plagerism. If an Ai detector reads over 50% likely you will be disqualified.

Must Prominently feature a Candyfloss and be set in the Cannon Candyfloss World (accuracy will not be picky).

Must stay on topic and Complete the required themes for the individual Challenge.


The Story

Deep in the haunted pumpkin patches of Delta, lies a moss covered Cabin nestled in the eery mists and barren trees. Whispers tell of a nefarious mage who dwells there, who practices dark magics and cackles spells well into the endless night. This witch is known as Pumtillda, the Hag of Gourds! Though many fear her great and Powerfull magicks, Pumtillda Wants nothing more than to toil over her bubbling Cauldron surrounded by her beloved Pumpkins.

What sinister spell is she working on so very dilligently? Why, the Jack-o-floss potion of course! Pumtillda Crafted this concoction herself! When brewed just right in the dead of night and drizzled over the most plump and perfect Pumpkin- a frighteningly metamorphesis occurs! In a poof of magic and wonder the pumpkin is given a miraculous new form! They become a Jack-o-floss!

With hollow eyes and glowing faces these mystical floss are sure to give you a fright! Cackling with joyous laughter, Pumtillda cannot be stopped untill she has risen her entire patch of Pumpkins to glorious life!!

Help her gather the magic she needs to raise your own Jack-o-floss from the patch this Spooky Season!

Jack-o-floss trait information

The rarity of this trait is "Seasonal" Which means it can only be accessed with Specific myo tickets given out during Seasonal or from Admin adopts made during the Events active Season.
The season for Jack-o-floss trait is Autumn (september, october, november)
The Jack-o-Floss trait can be used on any flavor or clan.

With this trait the floss' Eyes are hollow and a solid black-zoned color of your choice, their tongue, blood, and inner mouth wall is also this same color.
The inside of their hollow eyes ends in an inverted cup of blackzoned skin. It is tender to the tough and they dislike having anything inside their eye cavities.
They are still able to see through magical means.

They can willingly "ignight" themselves using magic that flows through their bodies to cause their eyes and mouth to light up and glow like a Jack-o-lanturn! They can keep it on for a limited time but can extend the tim with practice. Some jack-o-floss ignight accidentally when excited or under stress.
The glow must be one solid, bright color that does not have to match one another. For example the mouth can be blue, left eye red, right eye green. The color cannot change so once it's chosen you must stick with it or retcon it through redesign.

This trait is pallet exempt for all flavors.

Challenges

1. Monster Hunter

Draw or write a story about your Candyfloss facing off against a traditional halloween creature like a werewolf, Vampire, Skeleton, mummy etc. Will they fight? Run? Monster mash!?

2. A Mage's Garb!

Design a set of three new Custom outfits for your floss, one casual halloween/Autumnal Wear, one Cozy and Comfy to fight off the chill and one bonefied Witch or Wizard outfit complete with a long pointed hat!

3. A Haunted Hayride for Two!

Draw a picture of, or write a story about, your Candyfloss and their significant other enjoying a romantic (or terrifying) trip to a halloweeny destination like a Corn feild, haunted house, graveyard, etc.

4. Paranormal Encounters

Draw a picture of, or write a Story about, your Candy floss encountering a spectre from beyond the grave! (you may draw one of your Floss as a ghost for this Prompt, draw a generic rounded ghost, or use one of delta's ghostly petpets!)

5. Candle lit Visage

Draw your Candyfloss in eery darkness, lit only by dim Candle light or a flashlight! How Spooky!

6. Overgrown Decadence

Draw your Candyfloss in a bed of the dying flora of the season. Enveloped in crispy leaves, vines, mushrooms, nuts and barren branches. You can even throw in Some autumn Classics like pumpkins and apples!

7. Last Floss Standing

Draw a picture, or write a scene, of your floss, bloodied and bruised as as they make it out alive as the final survivor of a horror movie. have they bested a Slasher? Escaped an entity? or battled their way through hoards of brain eating Zombies? (remember to Keep Gore to pg13 Standards)

8. Neon Halloween

Draw a picture of your Candyfloss With restricted color pallet of neon green, purple, orange and or red on dark blacks!

9. Game of Death

Draw a picture or write a Story of your floss playing a game against the Grim reaper. Will they win back, their life from death's grip?! The game can be anything like darts, cards, Chess, or even Something Silly like mario kart! The Grim reaper can be one of your floss in Costume or just a four armed depiction of the Grim reaper as long as it's recognizable.

10. Creepy Pasta for Dinner!

Draw your floss in the Style of bone chilling overblown Creepy pasta Images from the 2010's! Think "hyper-realistic" blood, dark sunken eyes and creepy toothy smiles! Or Write a spoof of a popular Creepy pasta starring your floss! (Again try to keep things pg13/light hearted)

By completing each of the challenges you can redeem a prize! Prizes can be redeemed up until until the end of the event and will be added to your inventory automatically when your challenge submission is approved by Staff. Please expect 24-48 hours for the approval process.
